Tim Westphal

Tim Westphal brings a decade of experience and a people-first approach to his role as Business Development Manager at The Property Collective. His career in real estate began in 2010 as a leasing consultant before he progressed into business development, team leadership, and eventually a Head of Property Management Growth role. With a strong focus on rent roll growth and leadership, Tim thrives on helping property owners feel confident about their investments while ensuring a seamless experience for tenants.

Before real estate, Tim honed his communication and discipline as a tennis coach—skills that have served him well in building authentic client relationships. A career shift into enterprise technology sales gave him high-level commercial and strategic sales experience, which he now applies to his work in business development. He has been part of award-winning property management teams and has led and mentored some incredible professionals along the way. For Tim, business development isn’t about the hard sell—it’s about creating real, lasting partnerships through trust, alignment, and shared goals.

Outside of work, Tim is just as competitive, though these days, his focus is on the golf course rather than the tennis court. He’s particularly proud of being the inaugural Mulligans Golf Association (MGA) Masters Green Jacket winner—a title he’ll happily remind anyone of. Whether at work or on the green, Tim is all about strategy, precision, and playing the long game.

When entering an exclusive agency agreement with the Property Collective Australia, both the agent and client will determine a fair and equitable ranged commission based on the assumed selling price. This ranged fee will set the parameters for which the client is to determine what they pay us at settlement. The amount for which the client wishes to pay within the ranged fee must be clearly document in writing and provided to concierge@thepropertycollective.com.au and the client's legal representative within 14 business days prior to settlement. Should the client withdraw the property from sale or engage another agency the balance of the marketing funds spent will be due in full. Clients will be eligible to pay us what they think we're worth through signing an exclusive agency agreement with The Property Collective Australia.
End of year free marketing offer terms and conditions: a minimum fee of 2.75% or at the agents' discretion. Standout marketing package value: $4,305. Agreement must be signed by December 31st, 2022. To be advertised online before 28th February 2023. Does not include the auctioneer's fee. If the property is withdrawn from market, then the cost of marketing spent is to be paid by the vendor.
