Inspections

Final inspections can be conducted. Tenant/s may attend, however it is suggested that they do not attend where possible. All attendees must comply with health directives at all times e.g. wear a face mask and socially distance.

Routine inspections can now be conducted in person, however the tenant must agree in writing that the agent can attend.

Open homes

We are completing virtual tours on all properties where possible during this time, however one-on-one inspections as well as open homes can now also be conducted for vacant and tenanted properties. For open homes, agents must follow all health directives at all times e.g. wear a face mask, socially distance and manage queues, display the correct signage etc.

Tenants moving in and out

Tenants can engage removalists and cleaners - any services required for them to move in and move out of the property. Keys will be contactless collection where possible, if not, health directives will be complied with at all times e.g. face masks and socially distancing.

COVID impacted tenants

From September 2, 2021 temporary legislation was introduced to protect households that are impacted by COVID-19. Read more detail about this here.

Maintenance

All maintenance including urgent and general maintenance can now be completed, tenants are still encouraged to report any maintenance to their Property Manager first provided that it is not an after hours emergency repair. See what constitutes urgent maintenance here.
