This brand new custom designed Floriade 2023 cubby house, hand crafted by a local Canberra business ACT Property Maintenance & Fencing and bought to life by local artist Eryn Marshall Artistry, could be yours!

Boasting just one minimalistic room, but with uses only limited by your kid’s imagination, this cubby house is made for your backyard.

It’s the perfect spot for morning tea, a casual floor lunch, or late afternoon snacks served through the light filled window.

Do your kids love playing shop? With just a sprinkling of plastic fruit, your kid could become the local greengrocer. Bougee high tea more their thing? A few scattered doilies and their favourite tea set will make a great addition to the space.

Terms & conditions for the winning bidder

Delivery/Site Access/Transport
The site in which cubby is to be delivered to must be level and free of debris, any trees and bushes in the way must be removed prior to drop off/unloading. We do not remove any shrubs that are in the way. The Cubby house can only be delivered to the winning bidders desired location within 15km radius from Canberra CBD.

The Cubby House delivery is a one-time delivery to the winning bidders desired location. The Cubby House will be only dropped at the desired location at the easiest and safest location/space for delivery. The pre-agreed delivery site is the "front of the desired location address. i.e. driveway, nature strip, front yard. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to 'place' the cubby house in its final location/position once initial delivery has been completed. Although we use the best freight companies to transport the Cubby, we do not accept responsibility for damage to freight whilst in transit. Unfortunately, we also can’t guarantee the time and day of arrival, however, will use our best endeavours to arrange a suitable day and time of delivery. Should someone not be able to collect the cubby or isn’t home on the day of delivery, the cubby will still be delivered on-site on the previously agreed delivery site. We do our best to ensure the freight process runs as smoothly as possible but please be aware that slight delays can occur.

General
‍(a) Timber is a natural product, and it absorbs moisture from surrounding air, so external timbers tend to shrink when dry and can exhibit cracks. We recommend that all external timber be stained or protected in some way from the elements. After a period of time some touch up of paint is necessary by You to maintain the timber.

(b) The treatment on the timber we used contains no chemicals or arsenic and is therefore safe for your family. We use natural timber, some timber can contain knots and dents – these are not defects, but a natural part of the timber and is still structural enough and is fit for its intended use. It is the winning bidder's responsibility to maintain the structural integrity of the cubby house. The Property Collective and its representative accept no responsibility for any upkeep of the cubby house.

(c) We do not hold any responsibility for installations undertaken by the winning bidder of the cubby house. If the cubby is not structurally sound or stable, this is not our responsibility. It is the winning bidder's duty to make sure that the cubby house is installed correctly and is secure enough for its intended use. The Property Collective and its representatives accept no responsibility or injury, or damage caused by the cubby house.

Each council has different regulations regarding permits. If you require further information, please contact your local council or government department. The Property Collective and its representatives take responsibility regarding permits and placement of your cubby house.
