The first day in a new job can be exciting and can also be scary as f*ck.

But we're more about the exciting feels than the scary ones. So we've put together all the things you’ll want to be all over before you start. This includes an overview of what your life will look like for the first 13 days in your new job.

Our 13-day onboarding program will get you well and truly feeling and performing like one of the team. You’ll learn the what’s, how’s and most importantly why’s of The Property Collective and how you fit into it.

We want you to feel comfortable, we want our team and clients to feel comfortable too. We're in a professional services business, but we choose comfort over too corporate.

Your laptop, good vibes and anything you want to make you feel comfy at your desk

It’s important to us you feel comfortable at the office so go ahead and bring those beloved pics of your dog, cat, kids, whatever! And don’t be shy about bringing those affirmation cards or maybe the trinket that your great grandma gave you in 5th grade. The point – bring a bit of you and make yourself at home.

Don’t have a laptop yet? Most of us use Microsoft Pro or Apple. Go to any JB HIFI store to grab one, and don’t forget your charger! If you are hooked up to another network, disconnect if you can. If you’re not sure how to do it, we ‘ll get it sorted for you when you get in the office.

Super close free parking, but you got to keep moving.

There is free 2 and 3 hour parking on Wentworth Av, Dawes St, Eyre St & Howitt St around the block where our office is located.

Keep an eye on the time and for a heads-up email from one of the team, who may spot an inspector out and about to avoid annoying fines.

If you’d rather pay for all day parking, there’s a Wilson’s car park just down the road.

We’ve got the basics covered. What’s ours is yours.

We have all the basic supplies you would expect at an office these days. From utensils, coffee cups, fresh milk and tea and a few select spices . And there's more than enough room in the fridge or freezer to bring anything you need to keep cold. For anything else, we are just a short away from Eyre St. Market their the epic Supabarn.

Oh, and we have shower facilities, so if you wanted to hit the gym on your lunch break, or anytime really. Go for it, you can get back into office mode with a quick shower.  

Literally anything and everything, take your pick!

If you’re after a delish healthy breakie, head to Local Press for their amazing coconut and cherry pancake. Or get your caffeine hit from Axis Coffee Roasters, it’s just across the road. For that cheeky afternoon beer, head to The Dock. Or wine and dine clients or just catch up with your mates for lunch at Morks or Molto. For quick casual bite to eat, the Eyre St. Market is so bloody close, and has pretty much everything else.
